May 1862: South has over 2000 manpower available. Bug or WAD?

Wed Oct 09, 2013 1:10 pm

I seem to be swimming in manpower as the South. Since the start of the game, I've chosen ask for volunteers twice, but my available manpower has reached seemingly improbable levels. If I wasn't limited by money and war supplies, my army would be twice as large right now. Has anyone else encountered this?

Are you playing with the beta patch? If not, then this is a known bug.

Hmm, I thought I was, but I guess I'm not. Will check when I get home. But it's good to know that it's a known issue and will be fixed. Thanks for the reply.

You'll have to restart the game, but the official patch is very close from being released also.

yes, the options have been entirely redone, you'll need to restart a new game. But I advise you wait for the new patch.
