Appreciation

Thu Mar 02, 2006 12:46 am

I just got home from another business trip. You most kindly sent me download info prior so I could play but I got busy and my work portable is slow. So here I am in the home office doing work email and checking on BoA - already a great tuning patch and plenty of positive buzz from some guys with alot of street cred on the wargamer boards. And a good AI! First MMG does it and now our comrades across the pond do it with such a masterful and artistic touch. Bravo!!!

Please email or PM me somewhere to wire you $100 or so for a few bottles of wine for a virtual toast to your team from me (and us all) for a job most magnificently done. Seriously. I feel the need. You guys are awesome!

It is a great game isn't it? Such a nice change of pace.

Hear hear.

What an excellent game, clear in concept, so focused in design, a real wargamer's wargame. And what a great UI.

I am delighted and will be buying everything you publish.

This game is great. I love it. I am not as good a player as some on this forum and am on my way to my first victory as America in the long 1775 campaign. This is after 4 other trys.

I am hooked.

One of the things I love about this game (aside from the gameplay) is the art. Whoever designed the map deserves a raise, I really like how the terrain features are set on the map. Beautiful stuff.

Yup. Just makes a great game even better to play. Smooth setting for a smooth game.

I think you have a Fan Club. Saw this over at the Wargamer:

Graphics: You can actually feel the French touch. According to credits, a girl was in charge of the graphic design. And I tell you : I am in love with her. I have always loved French girls but there at last someone who cares about beauty in a wargame. Guys, we have to bring more girls in development teams!!! The US map is an eye delight.

Look completly to the upper left, you can see the map legend (sea, rivers, forest, etc.).

Now directly to the left, are map references, with a 18th look:

New Map
of the North Eastern Coast of
America
Showing states, rivers, terrains and climate
printed by S&R

S&R stand for Sandra Rieunier Duval and Robin Pirez, the two graphic designers.

Nice one!
