Tooltip(AACW)

Sun May 06, 2007 6:27 pm

In tooltip, the printing type falls and it is difficult to read words and phrases.
For details, look at the attachment file.

I don't see an attached file. Post the screen and I'm sure someone can help.

Yes. I run AACW in Japanese version.
You may say that AACW can not be guaranteed in the operation at Japanese version.
However, a lot of English version software moves to Windows of Japanese version.
I made the completion of AACW a heart wait.
Anyhow, wish to correct.

I understand how annoying it is, but this is an issue that we can't really fix for now, as this is Windows which is returning a wrong spacing to the functions we are using. We are started the process to switch to another DirectX Library, which will use bitmap fonts (and thus the problem will go away as we won't ask anymore windows what is the spacing between 2 characters for a given font), but this is several months away. So for now I can only propose you a refund if you find the annoyance to important.

Try to run in 120 DPI though, perhaps it can do some goods, but increasing all spacing.

Masayuki.
How to Run AACW in Japanese Windows xp without font issue,
You must change unicode.

1. Uninstall AACW
2. Control Panel - Language and Region(Tiiki to Gengo no Option) - Advanced (Syousai Settei)
Choose English (US)
3. Reboot
4. Install and Run AACW (Not change unicode setting)

Same problem happend Matrix's Crown of Glory and Forge of Freedom.
Thanks for your support, Pocus ;)

Mr.Yoshi

It tried the way of having you teach, but file itself didn't open and was worthless.

Mr.POCUS

As mentioned, it wasn't possible to use the way of Yoshi's letting me know.
Because several months of I wait, will I not make patch to this problem?

POCUS
It made a mistake in the document of above-mentioned English.
Because it waits several months, Will POCUS make the patch which solves this problem by making it?

Masayuki:

What went wrong with the switch to Unicode fonts? This should works. This is a Windows issue with how the spacing is calculated, and as such no patch can fix this part. If you are more comfortable talking directly to Yoshi in Japanese, perhaps he can guides you on how to switch to Unicode.

If this fail, we can't do much more on our side than proposing you a refund. In this case you can contact contact@ageod.om
