Coolbean, the US seized all the German structures in Shanghai. Can I get them back?

I have not filed every turn but I don't believe I have missed any diplomacy - though Brazilian diplomatic efforts were ignored by a few players.

Yeah, your Shanghai administrators seized all German structures. Can I get these back?

Also, at some point, we need to clean up what happened in Korea. Or is America going to keep several of the regions?

China has no objections if the USA keeps the regions it has in Korea.

Yes.

Guys, unfortunately I had to cancel the cable at my house and completely forgot about not being able to submit turns. I am in the middle of moving cities and starting a new job and won't be on a reliable internet connection for at least another two weeks. If anyone is willing, they should submit turns for the USA. I'm terribly sorry. Does anyone want to take it over permanently? I wouldn't mind. If not, I'll be back in a couple of weeks.

Also, I would say give those regions in Korea back to China.

Ok thanks. Agreed, the Korean provinces should go back to China.

I'm willing to keep submitting turns for the USA. The problem with Korea is that maybe the provinces should be returned to Korea and not China. At the start of the game in 1850, Korea has all of its provinces except Kimchaek which flies the Chinese flag.

If it was I who had to chose I would give it to China.

I think giving it to Korea would be good, since that would give Japan a target. But we should follow what was historical for this time.

If someone can process the turn in an hour, please do. Thanks.

Several "can't maintain" messages came up for both China and USA that I don't think would have happened if bjfagan processed the turn, including railroads that have been under construction for many turns. Maybe other players are affected by something similar. I'll try to reprocess the turn myself and if those messages don't show up, I'll make an alternate June 1881 folder and place the results there. The moderator can then decide which one to use.

Also, the map of Korea has changed significantly with Citizen X's processing, including Seoul coming under Russian control. Did Citizen X try to run any scripts changing control of the US provinces in Korea?

EDIT: I can confirm that the anomalies that were present with Citizen X's processing did not show up when I processed the turn. So I'll put the results in the ALT folder for the turn in the dropbox.

There is something wrong with Citizen X's turn (him running the game). I don't know why, but Seoul disappears for whatever reason. All players, please don't use his. We will need to use the Alt folder.

That's odd. No I didn't run any scripts and for the countries that I submit orders currently everything seems ok. Never noticed something similar when testrunning turns from 1880 in the past days. But then I didn't look into Corea admittedly.

At least Seoul dissappears for me, too, so it didn't get totally odd. Going to try to reproduce and eliminate the error this weekend.

In the ALT folder is an error, too, or at least it appears to me. I took controll of the entire set of Colombian wool farms in Kilikiyafor no apparent reason (relations in the positive etc). I am not sure that this can be trusted, either. I would feel better if we could go on with bjfagan doing the turn to an ALT-ALT version. Seems that for the time being, he is the only one that can safely host.

Well if you guys want I can process the turn for yesterday. Give me an hour or so and I will check CitizenX's turn and the alt folder too.

Early July 1881... using the alt folder.

Then we need to give Colombia their wool farms back. There may be other inconsistncies, too, that we are not aware of. Didn't submit a turn, either. Still I am ok with proceding.

Hey guys. Noticed on the last page that maybe Austria wasn't being played. Is that still the case? If so I'd love to take Austria back. Have some more time now and am regretting giving them up to begin with. If not then just disregard this. Thanks.

Glennbob took over Austria. However, it appears that Japan is open.

Austria still has not submitted any orders. You'll probably need to get official permission from the moderator to get Austria back, because I don't think this game has any official policy of opening a position if its player does not submit any turns for a set period of time without providing an explanation.

It appears that Austria, France and Spain are not submitting orders. I will have to check with their players, and verify what is going on. Please bear with me Lukasberger.

PS - To Glennbob and Ojodeaguila,
I do not see where you have submitted orders for the this year in our game. As the moderator, it is my duty to determine if you both are still interested in playing your nations. Please let me know. If we do not hear from either of you by the hosting of the 9/1 turn, I will have to assume that you have abandoned your countries (that is 3 days from this post).

No worries Jim, take all the time you need. Just to clarify though, I'm probably only interested in Austria. Maybe France. However it works out is fine though. If glennbob's going to keep playing then that's good. If not though, then I would very much like to jump back in.
