Fastes patcher from this side of big water :cwboy: !
Forrest said something about killing a Yankee for each of his horses that they shot. In the last days of the war, Forrest had killed 30 of the enemy and had 30 horses shot from under him. In a brief but savage conflict, a Yankee soldier "saw glory for himself" with an opportunity to kill the famous Confederate General... Forrest killed the fellow. Making 31 Yankees personally killed, and 30 horses lost...

He remarked, "I ended the war a horse ahead."

After patching AACW with the lastest patch (v.1.02c) I noticed that the version number displayed in the bottom right corner reads v.1.02b.

I never got around to patching AACW to this version (blame Pocus and his extra-fast programming powers). Anyone else noticed this?

Mine also showed v1.02b early this morning.

I downloaded again the patch v1.02c again this morning (8:30am ET), executed it and it now shows the correct version - v1.02c

I also checked the Options window, System Panel and the new Maximum Texture Size Option is there.

This new option was not there with the V1.02b

Pocus patches so fast, I never even had the chance to see 1.02b. :niark:

Me neither. :)

However, I can confirm that after re-downloading the latest patch (about 20 mins ago) and reinstalling it, the version number has been updated to 1.02c.

And the Winchester militia is behaving much, much better now. Not sure whether it was the tweaking in raiding, but at long last I'v lost Harper's Ferry in turn 1!*

please download 1.02d, the AI was disabling itself after one turn. A bad side effect of a new secure way to copy files at the end of hosting.
