incoming patch

Fri May 04, 2007 5:15 pm

Hi all,

We are not forgetting BOA, but as you can guess, some bugs in AACW took most of our time...

The good news is that the next BOA patch is close to completion, it now mostly involves checking that the code run smooth and without problems, double checking that the novelties of AACW are imported correctly to BOA.

I expect the patch to be finished sunday, for a release monday.

Thanks you much for your patience!

Very good! Will the patch have any impact on existing PBEM games?

Splendide. :)
"Sad fragility of human things! What riches and treasures of art will remain forever buried beneath these ruins; how many distinguished men - artists, sovereigns, and warriors - are now forgotten!"

"The Nation that makes a great distinction between its scholars and its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards and its fighting done by fools."

I'm unsure about previous save games, I think this will be compatible, but I have to test that. If it don't crash after one hosting, it is compatible :)

2 major bugs are fixed, the French Entry and the supply bug, some improvements in User Interface, like the permanent locking with CTRL-L, focus on move, some tweaks on gameplay, like a revised siege formula, winter damages in disloyal regions, etc.
More details in the readme as you can expect :)
