Game Crashing

Thu May 16, 2013 4:27 pm

I'm playing Austria in a GC. I have played to about mid 1853 without problem. However now when I click the button to process the next turn instead of processing the next turn I am immediately kicked to the game menu. I have tried reloading several times but the same thing keeps happening. I would gladly send my save game to someone to look at if I knew who to send it to. Does anyone know what the problem might be and is there a fix. Don't know if it helps but I am using Windows 8.

Your post does not contain enough information to help you.

The best thing would be to post your game and logs. However, you don't yet have enough posts (2) to uplaod. You will need a few more posts. We would need the turn before the crash, and the turn of the crash. Can you paste the log information?

When does it crash? At the beginning of hosting, or at day 15, or sometime else?

if you crash often then activate error logging please (Main Menu, Options, System). You can always upload files with wetransfer.com, posting the links only.

Hello harrybanana,

look at the post from James D Burns "Repeatable crash", posted February 8th, 2013. It seems to me that this is the same problem as I faced. The solution lies in the HST-Files.
