Peace Negotiation Bug?

Wed May 15, 2013 10:04 pm

I am Great Britain in the 1880 scenario. Oranje seizes my province of Kimberly, giving me a constantly renewed CB.

After spending more than a year building up logistics in the form of depots and railroads, I declare war, invade with overwhelming force, and destroy all of the enemy armies in three months, while capturing every depot and building, and every enemy province. I go to the peace interface, and find that I can demand Kimberly as I have a claim on it. I send a peace treaty to Oranje, demanding Kimberly. The interface tooltips say I am demanding it as winner of the war.

Next turn, I get a message that I have sent a peace treaty to Oranje. The following turn, all my armies are teleported out of Oranje, and Kimberly is now a part of Oranje, and my troops have been evicted from the very province I demanded. It looks like Oranje now is owner of Kimberly, instead of Kimberly going to me as demanded in my peace offer.

Does anyone understand what happened, or have any ideas on what can be done?

There is no bug. My apologies. I failed to click on the actual peace term.
