Unit reinforcement

Sat Mar 09, 2013 8:40 am

After suffering losses due to attrition or in batlle I find that I can recover from them in case that the subunit or cohort (e.g.) is not destroyed; it takes a few turns.

However, when a subunit is destroyed, even if I let the turns pass, by moving these units to the region where they were recruited, and by setting them to passive mode they don't recover.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have the relevant replacement elements available? They are viewable in screen F2, IIRC.

You also need to be in a region with a depot if you are playing with hardened attrition "on".
"Umbrellas will not be opened in the presence of the enemy." Duke of Wellington before the Battle of Waterloo, 1815.

"Top hats will not be worn in the Eighth Army" Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery of Alamein K.G.
