Also, there will be times when a message is received saying so and so general/admiral has gone to such and such city to recover from injuries. What does this mean for his future use in game play? Are his abilities reduced for some period? When do we know he has fully recovered and can be used to lead a new unit? Perhaps these numbers are a clue to this but I can't find the answer anywhere.

Another thing. I know it has been brought up before, but has anyone actually seen a instance where a commander was killed in the field? I have played the full campaign through March 1862 and have not seen anything yet. Also if it does happen, it seems like you should receive a message even if an opposing commander has been killed, not just your own.
