inflation how to not have that, really the calcul for to understand when inflation are here or not. (google translate because I speak french, but not very english)

its not hugely important. it will very slowly raise the price of structures but at the same time, particularly in early game, you can take a few options to reduce it (cash for goods etc).

it is triggered by - (a) not having enough private capital or state cash to meet your demands; (b) the temporary effect of economic crises; (c) converting gems/gold into cash.

ce n'est pas plus important. il sera très lentement augmenter le prix du industrie, mais en même temps, en particulier dans les début de partie, vous pouvez prendre quelques options pour le réduire.

il est déclenché par - (a) ne pas avoir suffisamment de capital privé ou en espèces Etat pour répondre à vos exigences, (b) l'effet temporaire des crises économiques; (c) convertir gemmes / de l'or en espèces.

ok, thank, but if I keep 2 000 private capital not have inflation, is the solution? (I try 1 000 and now (1854) I have inflation so a up to 2 000)

Yes I have option for reduce inflation, but is it is expensive (500 state cash for - 5 inflation pts)

You need to use the F4 screen to check. But generally around 750-1000 should be safe.

Remember that Private Capital is used to run your factories and buy imports and is raised by exports and domestic sales.

You must also watch state finances - these too can cause inflation if too low (aim for over 500-1000).

Mon francais (ecrit) est très mal, mais:

Vous devez utiliser l'écran F4. Mais généralement autour de 750-1000 devriez assez. Rappelez-vous que Private Capital est utilisé pour exécuter vos industries et acheter importations et est gagnée par les exportations et les ventes intérieures.

Vous devez aussi regarder des finances publiques - ci aussi peut causer de l'inflation si elle est trop faible (objectif depuis plus d'500-1000).

Do not freak out about inflation. As long as you can keep it under control (and less than 10%) it is mostly innocuous.

One game is up to 12 so now, I try maybe to not up that, but know the rule for that is really help.

As Japan, in a multiplayer game, I had peaks of 14-15% of inflation while in war (I was converting gems and gold as well). If you don't expand rapidly it won't matter. Just give few (1 max 2) new orders per turn, as fewer new structures will mean less pressure on your capitalists. This will also help with the pace of the game. People have ruined their game because of overexpansion. There is no need for that. It's a long long day.

You need a minimum of 1,600 for your industries to run. On top of that, you need to have some for your purchases (I see that you are importing Dyes, Wood, Tropical Fruit, etc - you can total your purchases by hand to know how much). You can find this out by looking at the turn notes at the bottom of the screen, it will say we have purchased Y items, it cost us Y. You will want to have enough above that for any colonial actions you take as well - whenever you take them (as these cost money) - so if you want to have anathropologic expedition, you need to have that much money above your limit.

So for example, you may need 1,600 for industry, 200 for purchases, and 200 for colonial actions - a total of 2,000 on hand each turn to aviod inflation. This will vary by the amount needed for trade and for colonial actions.
Remember - The beatings will continue until morale improves.

Thank Jin and Kensai, ok I understand now, just question for purchases : the sell of items is in the same time to purchases or I need the cost of purchasses same the trade is always good for me?

But If I understant one turn I have 1 800 private capital, not use private capital for not have inflation, next turn I have 3 400 if the cost of industrie and purchasse not change I can use 1 600 in industrie and colonial action is alright? (In my game I always keep 2 000 every turn, before I not know why, now I understand why and I know where check if I need more in bank, big thank you)
