Problem. Need help. My allies stealing my provinces.

Great game. Love it. Playing as Russia right now. Year 1863, Polish uprising. I neglected it for a turn or two, rebels occupied some provinces, no problems. I am allied to Austria, and they're helping me to extinguish Polish rebellion, Austrians liberated couple of my provinces, but those two provinces are flying Austrian flags right now. Moved over a 1000 strong Russian army stack into one of them, couple of turns later still no change, province is still flying Austrian flag.

Hello, and welcome to the forums.

As I understand it, unfortunately, as they "captured" the region from the rebels, they keep the territories. You would have to go to war with them to get the territory back.

Yes, I noticed that as well.

Playing Russia I could send troops into Prussia to get rid of rebels as the AI was unwilling to bin them. Once I'd got rid of them I discovered i'd taken control of the industries in the province. The AI would eventually take control back, but it took time.

Thanks. Had to revoke alliance with them. Earlier I had to revoke commercial agreement with them Austrians. Too invasive of the allies. As soon as you ally yourself with your neighbors, their units end up trespassing into your country and they stick their hands into your pockets.
