CTD report

Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:20 pm

I was moving units between stacks (in Massalia), and had just clicked on a supply train unit when the game crashed. Attached are my logs. Can provide save games if needed.

Your turn processing is super slow also. Can you reproduce the problem? Seems suspiciously related to a video issue though.

My guess is that I can't reproduce it exactly, but the game will crash at some point again. Will try later. Either there's something wrong with my computer (no problems with other games though), or AJE simply doesn't like it.. :( . Reinstalling certainly doesn't help, done that many times.

You're right, the processing takes quite a while, even though by all means it shouldn't (Intel Core i5 2,67 GHz & 6 GB's of RAM).

The crashes you get are mostly an incompatibility issue between Windows, the game, DirectX... For processing time, it can also be the result of a fragmented and/or low speed hard disk (or one without much space). Check that please... also in general.opt there is an entry called logbatch, change the value to 100, it can help.

Thank you for your help again. I'll look into updating my DirectX and video drivers. Also you're quite correct about the hard disk space issue, the partition where AJE is installed is almost full.
