ok still not working
ok so i m the guy who had problem with the Mac version of the game and the fact that no patch 1.02 was not ready for the Mac version. So i messaged GG and told them about it and they gently changed my version from Mac to PC. Installed it and then problem again and crashed so voila my log again if somone can help me and tell me what s my problem this time. I m actually really pissed since i bought the game 6 month ago and i m still not able to play it... hate Gamersgate. Would have been easier to buy it from Steam

1.) Ageod is not responsible for gamersgate actions, nor for the MAC conversion
2.) your log states clearly you started a 1.01 version, while the 1.02 patch is at hand and 1.03 in discussion

Yeah i m aware of the fact that ageod is not responsable. I m also aware that i m using the 1.01 since when i m installing 1.02 the game is also bugging at the begining and force close. Can u explain me exactly how to do all the things u say in the 3rd point so i can try to do them this time after patching 1.02. Thx and still sorry for this.

If it's reporting as V1.01, then it's not properly updating I'd say.
And there is either a video resolution issue or some install files are missing??
I believe there's a separate game setup program, in the install files, that lets you choose the screen resolution and other game settings... or am I think of WWI Gold only?

so i installed again and updated to 1.02 but still the same problem... i dont know if its going to show in the log but i m still linking in case u guys can see the problem. I would really need help here to be able to play this game. Thx

Are you playing on Steam or classic installation? Change of default installation location and patching gives the same problems? Have you tried on a friendly Mac? I am positive a solution will be found, but we have to narrow down the problems. I can't deduce much from your Main log.

but then others won't understand what we say...
the log is not detailed enough... check in the VGN\settings\general.opt an entry called logbatch, and set it to 1, like logbatch = 1 then run the game again and post the log.

this is the new file. I understand that the log is not complet since the loading screen blocks at the begining and the game craches. If anybody is interested i can give u my game dowload link from GG and u guys can test if the problem is coming from the game or from the computer here. And yes i m trying on a PC now.

You MUST edit the file General.opt [located in directory \VGN\Settings]
Use only NotePad or some such text editor....
Find the line that looks like:
LogBatch = 500
(your value may not be 500)
Change it to be:
LogBatch = 1
Save the file, then restart the game and post the !MainLog.txt here...
