Question and a repeated CtD.

Sat Apr 14, 2007 4:21 pm

1) What does a paper-clip before the name of a save file mean?

2) In the April '61 campaign I've come across a repeated crash to desktop (ctd) bug. It's turn five and I click on end turn, towards the end of the execution phase the CSA move some forces to Tucson to siege it, but fail and I get a message saying that I won, but when I click to close the battle screen the game ctd's.
Are the devs interested in this save file?

I was wondering this myself. I thought maybe it was the latest save.

Could be it. Can't find anything in the manual about it.

My understanding its main function is to identify the latest file and it is used to insure that during PBEM play that both files are up to date before the host processes a new turn. So in PBEM play as the host, you need to have both files show paper clip or something is out of snyc.

Thought this was in the manual but can't see it either.

Beowulf, have you send the saved game? If yes, what is the email address you used?
