Game not advancing

Sun May 06, 2012 12:39 pm

I've tried to start three games of PoN and can't get past the fifth turn. Every time I try to advance the turn I get a saving message but no turn advance. I've tried keyboard shutcuts, starting as different nations, completely exiting the game, and even rebooting my computer, but it won't advance. I'd love to be able to play the game, but it won't let me.

Downloaded from Gamersgate
Snow Leopard 10.6.8
3.4 Ghz I7
4GB ram

Any suggestions?

unless someone has superior knowledge of problems with PON and Mac OS/Snow Leopard, i would ask you to, at least upload the log file from the very moment after the crash.

however, prone to throw them into disarray.

I'm not familiar with how that's done. Can you walk me through it?

lets see...

first you need to know, MAC-version of the game comes from an external company (just worth to mention)

***********************

1.) if its paths is comparable to win-version look for:

Logs\!MainLog.txt file

it has to be the file from the very moment after any crash, if you start over the file would be overwritten.

2.) post a message...

within it, there is in the first row the paperclip button nearly in the mid of the window, it will re-direct you to a pop-up window.

this is the attachments manager

then anyone can look for obvious problems or for something new.

I remember issues with the MAC version, but not where i read about... was nearly 10 months ago
