I just started investing in rubber plantations cause I usually do that with scarce and new resources. but no sales on market, nor have I seen any use in factories
is there a chewing gum factory later in game or what? or is it a advanced canned food shop or sweet shop.
( I know 2nd world war used chewing gums cause it stopped hunger pains)

Usage of rubber will increase when techs relative to automobile industry (and the corresponding factories) will become available

Major use of rubber historically was for tires in automobiles invented in the late 1890's and used in large numbers starting in 1900. My guess is that the game will do the same.

okay thanks forgot about tires
ha ive got all the oil and all the rubber, ill be the only efficient oil power and car using industry
