Hi
The Colonial Campaign Club for HPS games now also supports BOA, I have joined the ranks of the French army, hopefully more BOA players will follow.
Here is the link http://www.wargame.ch/1776/index.html

Good, but I registered one week ago when someone posted on Matrix, and I'm still awaiting my acceptance in this very private club :)

That's odd. It's a real person, not a machine who processes the enlistments, so it could take a day or two, but not a week. Send me an email with your details to lordkingston (at) dswalter (dot) net and I shall see to it that you are welcomed. Provided you don't want to join the rebels, or, horribile dictu, the French! :innocent:

Also, and just to be sure, we are a bit old-fashioned in that joining our forums is a process separate from joining the club itself as a participating member. The forum is here:

http://www.wargame.ch/board/ccc/

and you can register for it here:

http://www.wargame.ch/board/ccc/policy.asp

while the club is at

http://www.wargame.ch/1776/index.html

and you can enlist for it here:

http://web2.airmail.net/gco047//1776/CCC_FORMS/join.html

I apologize for the fact that only John Tiller's Early American Wars games from HPS are listed there right now; it's a quite recent development that we added BoA to our supported games. We also cannot offer training for newly enlisted members who only own BoA right now, for the same reason. But BoA games can be registered with the club and points and resulting promotions in our ranks earned the normal way.

We are not a ladder, but what they used to call a "roleplaying club", so while playing games is the core of our club of course, roleplay, ranks, titles, inter-army rivalry etc. are quite as important for us as playing, and definitely more than winning. :innocent:

Sir - you should have been contacted meanwhile. It appears there is no telling why your form input didn't go through, but fortunately we can still do things manually.

I apologize for that, but I also cannot really understand it. The forms are working, we have just tested them again.

Could you also just send me an email? And did you mean to register for the club, the boards, or both? (See my post above.)
