Boxed version

Is a printed manual included with the boxed version of this game? And where can you buy - the boxed edition - apart from at matrix games? I want it as a physical gift.

Hi.

There is no printed manual on the physical version, I had to print it on my own, but, relieve me , it is worth the effort printing it (or putting it on a “greener” system, like e-book). By reading the manual you will understand many particular aspects of the game that otherwise you would have not taken into account.

I must recognize that purchasing the game was safe and easy, and I received the boxed version at home (many miles away) by post in four days (much faster that if it would have been transported on a Czech armoured train…) bad joke, sorry, but I love RCW humour… :neener:

Enjoy the game, see you in Siberia.

I'm in northern Europe and I only get Deutsch (sic) Post and DHL as options at Matrix Games. I guess DHL would ship it to me, but the price of shipping is almost the same as for the game itself. If Deutsche Post can ship it to me (it was cheap) I wouldn't be hesitant, but I never saw them have any activity over here before. What kind of shipping options did you have?

I chose Deutsche Post, and delivery cost was about 5 €, I guess if you have the option it will work for your country.

Hope this helps.

Ok, that worked!

I got the DVD now in a thick case, probably to make space for manuals (for other games). However, the no-manual trend is worrying. When I bought games ten or 15 years ago I always got a manual even if it was a FPS.

I am late with this, but the retail boxed version of Revolution Under Siege can be purchased from NWS Online Gaming Store for $31.99 U.S., which is $8 cheaper than buying it from Matrix Games.

Hopefully this information will be useful to someone else who is looking for the boxed version of the game.
