does the AI ever win?

Tue Mar 20, 2007 1:06 am

I've only played PBEM so far (only three games). Just wondering if the AI is good enough to win, on either side, in the campaign game? Against a newbie? Against an experienced human player?

Many players have reported losing against the British AI, even playing on Average difficulty. Few (less than an handful) ever reported to win agains the AI on very hard (American side is more difficult until the French arrive).

And what is the difference between these grades of difficulty? fewer units?
strongest IA? some kind of help for the IA side?

the IA advantages are some bonuses (as listed in the tooltip of the option) and new reinforcements (for the British, regiments which were stationned historically in the Indies are sent to the Colonies)
