Production structures questions

First of all thanks again Aragos for your help,

but I should scold you for calling "cheat sheet" the "Pride of Nations Production Sheet" pdf you posted days ago.
I was thinking it listed cheats like getting 1 million $, free divisions, etc.
So I didn't opened it for days as I wasn't interested in cheating...

A couple of question about production structures:

1) the most of Agriculture & Natural Resources have got 3 levels/expansions but a few of them not: Wood, Opium, Silk, Fishing only got 2 and Rice only has 1 !!

Is this correct, is this WAD ? If yes, then why so ?

2) Shipbuilding structures have the same amount of Manufactured Goods both as COST and as OUTPUT.

In my mind that makes not sense, if cost+output=0 then you can scrap altogether both the GD entries...
IMHO you could either slightly increase the GD output or change the GD cost for something else or change the output...

1) This is WAD... one of the reason of limiting some agricultural structures to low levels is to represent limitations to outpout (due to techniques, technologies, customs, etc...) and this also forces players to diversify their agricluture production somewhat

2) Also WAD, this changes at level 2...let's say it's not the same 'Mfg Gds' that are produced ;) Without joke, before shipyards were costing gds, making them a hindrance and not the bonus they should be....will be tweaked a bit later on, at least now there are 'neutral'...

Mmmh...while I understand your reasons yet in my opinion you can obtain the same by giving later date techs to them.
At least level 1 only RICE is very punitive !

Also, if I understand the game-engine correctly, you cannot build agricolture or mining structures others then the ones for which resources are present, so I can't diversify that much, can I ?

If for instance I wished to add (for historical reason) RICE to northern italian regions (Vercelli,Lomellina), which also have SILK as main valuable resource and little WOOD for they industries (fornitures), I found then myself with 3 limited resources there and 4 when counting FISH

Yet I give you credit for searching the best game-balance, not really complaining here.

I'm ok with that now, I take it like a kind of transformation process where general goods become naval goods sort of.

EDIT:
Actually it would be nice having a more articulated economy (maybe in an expansion game) where, amongst other fine-tuning, naval goods are needed for ships maintanance and as INPUT for Fishing harbour...
