One-theater Campaigns - Inter theater reinforcements

Fri Feb 16, 2007 10:03 am

We plan to have another 6-8 scenarios in the game allowing to play single-theater campaigns (i.e. West or East only). We shall use as a basis the full campaign sceanrios that you have seen, and we shall make one half of the map unplayable (as you can see the battle scenarios)

East Campaigns: play only in Mid Atlantic, Old Northwest and Deep South areas
* 1861
* 1862
* 1863
* 1864
* 1865 (?)

West Campaigns: all other areas + Old Northwest (but No Deep south / Mid Atlantic)

* 1861
* 1862
* 1863
* 1864

What I need as an input is the historical list of inter-theatre reinforcements, i.e. which force from the 'unplayed' theater show up and at what time. For instance, such an info would illustrate when James Longstreet took his corps to Georgia and Tennessee in the fall of 1863, where it was engaged at the Siege of Knoxville (West 1863)... or when Union fleet appears to capture New orleans (West 1862) or again when Sherman army shows up in front of Atlanta (East 1864)

I know it is huge information, so I would like you concentrate mostly on major forces (divisions, corps, whole armies) and may be fleets as well.

Thanks :indien:

No replies :p leure: ... does this mean I have to consider that the theaters did not received / exchanged / transferred troops between each other ?

You consider Atlanta to be in the East?
