Waiting is so hard

Tue May 17, 2011 1:07 am

The Title say it all - This game already looks like it will be my favorite of all time.

Gentlemen, no more delays. It MUST be available in early June.

Waiting is even harder, as you torment us with these one a day updates that whet our appetite even more - But do not stop.

And you are talking about waiting? I got enrolled in the research team long before it was announced, although I was unable to help much and therefore left the team, and have been waiting ever since and after 2,5 years of unemployment I finally got a job which means Im gone for 2 months and during that time PON is going to be released and I have no access to my own computer during that time...How do you think I feel about waiting? :cursing: :p leure:

Pocus you couldn't have waited until I got back home, some time in late july? ;)

I haven't stalked a game release like this in a few years.

When are pre-orders starting? Ready to get it started! :feu:

I am really eager to have my hands on that game. I want a 6 player MP lasting years of IRL life :) . Looks like the game I dreamt of !

Plus, once PoN is out, we get to have a patch for RoP :)

This are my words! RoP needs a patch and we all need PoN. It will be a demo available?

Thank you.

And may I thank you and everyone involved for the magnificent vision and effort put forth in creating what is certain to be a classic game, one that will teach as well as entertain.

I can't get into Birth of America 2 or American Civil war but I am still excited about Pride of Nations.

Well waiting is easy now that I have waited for what is it 4 year?

This is the ONLY game I want.

When do pre-orders begin then? Don't say day before release :D .

The demo link says mid-May, so probably about then. So I would guess in the next week or so.

A group of irate Valkyries and associated Vikings would chop my head off if I were to confirm your quite precise guess estimate. :neener:

While you must keep your head, I am guessing that Valkyries and Varangians might be a little more accurate.

Why only the eastern Vikings? Varangians were the ones who went to Russia if not mistaken.

Yes, the one now living in Sweden now ;)

To be fair, Swedes living in Skane, or Halland, or Västergöthland would be Viking :) . Not the Swedes in Stockholm.

I was thinking of Swedes, who did go east to Russia and the eastern Baltic, as opposed to Danes and Norwegians, who went west and actually were the vikings. I exclude those areas of current Sweden that used to be inhabited by Danes.

I was imediatelly excited about Vainglory of Nations when I saw the announcement here. I am glad that the four years wait is nearing the end.

My only fear is the the vast complexity as I still struggle learning the ageod games I have. A very limited 'gaming time' is not a great mix with such a deep (but clever) engine, ...and thats just a military part. But this time I decided to not give up easily! :D

BTW, thanks for the daily reading portion at paradox forum, great teasers there.

I think that the military part, as in AACW, is the most complex of the engine. It is slightly simplified in PON, and the rest seems to be more approachable I would say.
