Mac Version

Fri Apr 22, 2011 11:52 pm

I was really happy to find this mentioned in another thread.

Pocus, are you planning to make announcements? Many Mac owners would love to run AACW native - with such an active community it could get a new wave of gamers on Mac and those like me who already have the game running under Boot Camp or something but like it native.

I noticed on starting some of the longer scenarios that the production and supply numbers are skewed or jammed together crazy (6 or 7 figures for general supply and ammo) on 1st turn of several longer scenarios I started?

Is this the start of more games being ported to Mac?

Thanks much. This is great to run native on Mac and I trust the few table errors obvious so far and any others will be corrected soon.

I am finding more problems it seems - reinforcement screen has jumbled text headers running onto each other or is a blank page with no tables. Date display as noted in another thread is not right. I am new to game so maybe some of this is ok but I never saw these things as I am trying to learn the Win version. AGEOD is a great company so I hope and trust these rough edges on the first MAC port will be fixed soon. Oh, and I noticed on credits screen it is 1.15b version.

The conversion has been done by another company, after being asked by Paradox Sweden, and we don't have details about how they did the process. Only us can patch it I believe.
