Subordinate Generals - do abilities still count?

Fri Apr 01, 2011 2:52 pm

Had a question about "2nd in command" generals. Do their special abilities still count if they are under a force commander? For instance, if a Division Leader is in charge and you stick a lesser general in the same stack with artillery bonus, does the division get the bonus?

What about simple unorganized "forces" with two or three generals and several units. Do the abilities of all three generals count or only the senior most present?

To expand, what happens when divisions get put inside of corps? Do all the abilities of the various divisions carry over to the single corps?

Thanks as always!

The tooltip for a particular ability will tell you whether the talent applies to all units in the stack, just the units under the general's command, only certain kinds of units under the general's command, etc.
