Way to slow down icon movement?

Sun Mar 04, 2007 5:07 pm

Is there a way to slow down how fast the enemy unit icons move durning turn execution? I feel like I'm missing a good bit of intel because I can't keep up with how fast the screen moves around showing all of the movement.

Sorry if this has been answered before.

Options Screen, Media Tab.

You might want to Pause after Each Battle and below that, adjust Animation Speed.

But that's Battle animation speed. I want to slow down how fast the enemy icons (the picture of a soldier on a stand) move on the big map.

I don't think there is any way of doing that. If there were it would give the host even more of an advantage in PBEM games also.

OK.

Drastic method - run it on a 486 with 128 megs of RAM. :niark:

Ok. Thanks for the responses. Wilhammer, that would definitely work! :)

Maybe this is something that could be added to the Civil War game, you know, Pocus, when you have a few minutes to spare. I'm sure you're not very busy right now! :)

That's not a good rationale for having units "blitzing" across the screen !
I'd second the request to be able to slow the movement. :siffle:

I also think this would be a good idea.

Would it be very difficult to give the non-hosting player some sort of "replay" of the turn?

this one along with a more detailed battle report are the two features asked and the priority of the next months.

ooo goodie. I generally try and zoom out to maximum just so I can try and catch as much 'enemy intel' as I can.

look forward to this.

Aye.

I second this excellent suggestion.

I would also like to be able to review the movement phase by seeing an on-demand map display (unit icons and movement paths) in the following orders phase, but perhaps I ask too much...
