How to get reenforcement

Sun Dec 26, 2010 12:05 pm

After 56, my armies are a bit hurt. So I would like to reinforce them. However, I find myself unable to assign reinforcement to them. Anyone can explain how this mechanic works? I can have 3 available chit for one type, but the unit won't replenish (even if in Dresden in passive order, NOT in brigade).

Is there a ''maximun'' amount of reenforcement a turn?

There are no such limits. Units are "refilled" when they receive replacements.

To do so, they must stay in passive posture, preferrably in a friendly unbesieged city in the home country.

Free replacements are received automatically in bulk during the first three months of the year.

If you need more, then you need to buy some. One way is to use options (check the ledger). The other way is build Depot Bataillon: go to construction mode, drag & drop the unit on the map (i.e. construct it)...when the depot bataillon is completed, it is removed from the map and replaced by a number of replacements of the same type (usually 3).

Hope this helps

Yep, espescially the Depot battalion part :)

Is it true, this is what I understood from the manual, that you have to break up battalions to receive reinforcement?

If it is true what of units in corps but not battalion? I'm asking, because that might be my problem, I noticed that when I take my unit out of my Corps, they seems to fill up quite quickly...
