Rasputin's Own Bear wrote:Well, Katusha is pretty much ok. Tri Tankista is a different story, since it is all about tanks fighting evil imperialist samurai with fire and steel. As for Slavyanka, it can be easily replaced with any other variant - "Vstan za veru", or the red one.

Good luck trying to focus on micro-managing your budget while that song is playing in the background![]()

As an example of what didn't make the cut, there is the following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6FUR_nhGX8
It's not quite from the time period, and it may be a little bit different in feel from the rest of the soundtrack, but wouldn't it have been nice if it was included?![]()

Rasputin's Own Bear wrote:Well, first of all, the soundtrack is absolutely great. Everything that should be there is there.
But what about the tracks that shouldn't? "Slavyanka" is in it's post-WWII variant, complete with the part about red heroes who took Berlin in 1945. "The Three Crewmen" is about soviet-japanese conflict of Halhin Gol in 1939. "Katusha" is also a WWII song.
It's not a big deal, of course, but sounds really weird for russian-speaking players.
