Demo patch 1.08L. What's happening now?

What's happening now?

I have installed the demo patch 1.08L.
Now when I want to start the game I get the following error message:

Running the patch installed with UAC off and logged in with PC Aministrator priviledges? Installed the demo in the same way?

As you already mention in another thread/post, there is no UAC or PC Aministrator priviledges in Windows XP.

And yes, I installed the demo in the same way.
