A Quick Note of Thanks...

Sun Feb 18, 2007 2:40 am

Pocus, Phil and the rest of the crew- I just wanted to take a quick second to thank you all for your work on this game, as well as your past actions with respect to patches and fixes in BoA. As a one of the unlucky few who purchased an unamed ACW game from another small developer I've been left without a complete game for over 30 days while its being patched. While I expect there to be bugs and fixes from small developers, this experience has provided a new found respect for the way that AGEOD operates.... your responsiveness to your customer base, and the constant tinkering and updating you provide are unparalled. Thanks....now whens this baby scheduled for release?!?!?!?! :niark:

Seconded. AGEOD is ROCK solid when it comes to support. And come to think of it, most everything else as well. :)

To be fair to Western Civilization, the current "patch" being worked on contains really major changes and additions to the game, essentially amounting to FoF version 2. Such changes need to be implemented and then tested, which takes time.

I'm not satisfied with version 1 of the game either, but version 1 of any game tends to be unsatisfactory.

I wish all the best of luck to AGEOD, but I don't really expect it to produce perfection at version 1, nor to fix all problems overnight. It's better to be pleasantly surprised from time to time than to have unrealistic expectations and be forever disappointed.

On behalf of all the team, thanks all for your nice words! We are working hard so that AACW is finished in due time and in a very good shape.

Expected release in the second half of march... we can't be more precise. Can be the 15th or the 30 th.

I can only second this... playing BOA a few weeks ago, I found 3 save game issues with in a short period of time -- Pocus fixed them all, and I had a patch less than a week after reporting them.
