I'd like to know this for certain too, but as BoA was available for download I can't see why AACW wouldn't.

Definitively available. First on our site, then some weeks later on others. Buy AGEOD version, this is good to the health of our company (no margin reduction), meaning we can get the money to continue developing games. :coeurs:

We are not planning a boxed version to start with, because the cost (and the shipping cost in addition) does not make it economically viable.

However, our retail partners will produce CD boxes, so these could become available. The dates will be different of course :p leure:

I think those who prefer a CD boxed version with a manual would be prepared to pay extra for this. Some of us :p apy: don't trust digital downloads !!! :p leure:

Will the game be available through Matrix? Or is that yet to be determined?

I am such a big fan of BoA, I might buy the DD version from you and get the box and manual copy later from Matrix.

Dear Phil, i will buy the digital download from you, but i still need a boxed version too, so i hope that Matrix releases a boxed version with a written manual because my printer has often malfunctions and i need a good backup for the game.So i will pay twice for the game and you earn more money.Ican understand your position only offering the digital download but i Hope that you change your mind... :coeurs: :siffle:

sincerely yours

We'll find a way you can get your boxes. IF the deal is made with Matrix, then a box could become available :coeurs:

I also would buy a DD version and then buy the boxed version, did that with Europa Universail 3 and with Forge of Freedom. :niark:

For what it is worth, I have seen the BoA box in a couple of stores now in California, and I thought I was very attractive.

I will certainly try the digital download, because I won't have the patience :grr: to wait for the boxed version.
But when the boxed version comes out I will buy that too :innocent: as an insurance against a computer malfunction.

The main distribution channel for digital download, and the one that will make our success or failure is buying direct from AGEOD. If you buy from AGEOD, you are also in our database and can ask for your serial key or another digital copy of the game if lost.

I understand that.
But I think in order to encourage the customers to buy the digital download at your site you have to enhance the shop a bit.
1. State very clear that the customer have the possibility to redownload a lost copy.
2. State very clear that no internet connection is necessary to play the game.
3. Perhaps you could also offer an additional copy on CD. I am not talking about box and printed manual but about a simple pressed CD (no CD-R!). The production costs will be low.

I bought my copy of BoA at Gamersgate, since I had simply more confidence in that shop and AGEOD was completely unknown to me.

And what about French customer? I hope you won't forget them? Will the game be available in stores too, or will we have to download the game?

Hi
I bought BoA on the spanish boxed edition, but i plan to buy AACW from AGEOD direct download system.
But this thread had make me wonder... does your system work like the Matrixgames one?
I hope so, because its the most simple and convenient :coeurs: :coeurs:
you download a file, get your serial number and that´s it.
You can burn it on a cd-r without trouble as a backup and dont have to install any download software, activate on internet and all this s**t lik steam, gamersgate etc. :fleb:

Redownload it´s great but i see it as a last resource.
I always make my own backup of Matrix titles in case i want to uninstall and re install, or may PC breaks...
Cheers
Arsan

Kind like Matrix yes, ie we do not have an automated service which will give you again the file or the serial key if you lose it, you have to contact me at support@ageod.com for that. Aside that, same things. Buy, download and get the key, and that's it. No internet connection to install the game, and backups on CD are ok (and advised!).

I find digital download, safe, reliable, and better financially for the game developers, as Pocus says.

The minute I am on my PC and it is available for download, I will grab this thing.

I wonder if we can get an email announcement....at work (a University), the dl speeds are even better than my RoadRunner connection at home.

Just my 2 cents. I am with Arsan. My credit card is at the ready to order direct from Ageod just as soon as I see the game is available for download. By buying direct, it puts more money in Ageod's pocket. Furthermore...the digital download reduces Ageod's expenses leaving more money in their pocket.
