Swapping the position of 2 armies in turn-based mode?
How does one accomplish that? It won’t let me move an army into a hex already occupied by another friendly army? In strict army-based mode I could move one out and then another into the hex but that doesn’t seem possible in turn-based move? Seems a bit restrictive – should you not be allowed to order an army into an already occupied hex if you have already ordered the army there to move away? I suppose what I’m saying is should not the only one army in a hex restriction only be in effect at the end of movement not during?

The only way I know how is during the redeployment phase at the end of each year.

a workaround i use for this problem is simply to detach some corps from the hq originally in the region. i leave them there and move out the hq. the next turn i reassign the detachment i left behind to the new hq i wish to move into the region, then i simply move the new hq in.

its a bit tedious, but in real life moving a major unit out of the front line and replacing it with another was no simple task either.
