Counter-Espionage Events

Sat May 29, 2010 5:08 pm

One of the actions of the espionage events are that a random card is removed from the opponents hand. It seem that this occurs before the player has a chance to play a counter-espionage card. Should the player get that option first? What if the random card removed IS the counter espionage card? And event if not, if the counter card is played, is the remvoed card added back?

Well, in the PC game is not possible to freeze the game allowing the enemy to activate the counter-espionage, if available. So if the drawn event is counter-espionage, there's no hope! :D

So, if I understood, these events cannot actually stop/reverse the event as the tool tip says. They can reverse the event (i.e. FOW still in place), but not the card removals.

Yes, in that case you can only remove the FOW bonus.
