Their going to take me away

Wed Feb 07, 2007 6:19 pm

I check the web site two or three times a day.I have Civil War books causing obstructions in the lounge, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and now the bathroom (A good place to ponder tactics).I even have a book left in the car,in case of traffic holdups. When I kindly offered my wife another trans atlantic flight to visit the wilderness, she threatened to make me another casualty of the war.Today the doctor called on a social visit, but I fear they are going to take me away. Please help me Pocus .Get the game released before its too late for me!

The whole team is working hard believe me. We are only three persons full time: Philippe Thibaut, Sandra Rieunier, and I, Philippe Malacher. And we don't want to disapoint you, the players, so it takes time to do the things right. The expected release date (between february and march) is still OK, but I can't say the precise day.... No major problems ahead and all features fit in the right place.

I will post a new screen today, as an emergency fix :)

I'm looking forward to this game, because it will the the first strategic level ACW game that I have played. I've been wargaming for about 12 years, but there hasn't been a computer game on the subject worth my attention all that time. Finally, I think this one will be the game I have been waiting for.

I agree runyan99.I also think this might finally be the civil war game on computer to take the place of the board game "CIVIL WAR" by Victory games.
I got a designer friend to enlarge that game map by 5 or six times and regularly played it as a team game against American or British military based at Chicksands,Bedfordshire,U.K.
If you haven't played it I recomend doing so if you get the chance.
It always amused me that us armchair generals usually ran rings round the military in theoretical discussion, but that in a real situation we would no doubt be hopeless ,while the actual soldiers would cope with skill, courage and tenacity.
I hope to hold out until the reinforcements Pocus promised make it,
