Help to push RoP and AGEOD in Paradox forums

Tue Apr 13, 2010 11:27 am

Hi all,

It seems AGEOD and Rise of Prussia is still fairly unknown to the Paradox community and of course we want to make sure we bring this great game and hard work that the two "Phil's" put into every game to everyone's attention.

We are running a few activities this week for the Paradox forum, amongst others a "Ask AGEOD anything" thread. It would be great! if you guys could go in and get the discussion going.

The ask thread can be found here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?p=11007549#post11007549

The RoP general thread here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=491

Thank you very much!

Kind regards
Susana Meza

Oh, and of course you can also enter the quiz and take part in winning a complete AGEOD pack with all releases to date from GamersGate. Just follow the instructions in the thread :)

Rise of Prussia needs you ROP-players. The game is (I honestly believe) the most polished just-released Ageod game so far (there is always room for improvements, sure), but many of the Paradoxians still have to discover it, it seems. Perhaps for some the period just don't appeal to them, but for most I believe they have yet to discover that there is a forum named 'Rise of Prussia' on their favorite board :)

So, if you can post your impressions or just talk about the game you are currently playing, then it can definitively help for the future of ROP*: traffic appeals traffic!

* More exposure = more sells, more volunteers, more mods, a more lively and lasting community, a bigger incentive for us to make patches with added content, etc.

Don't make use regret to choose the Seven Year War as a theme for a game! Or is it true? People really don't like only WW2 and a few others subjects? No, we still don't want to believe that! Wargamers like to discovers new bloodbaths (err I mean new period of interests for their intellectual appetite!).

So, you are welcome to cross post, answer the quiz, etc.

Well, well...

"Just" move all the data base of Ageod's vBulletin in the one of Paradox with all our accounts and stat's

You will then get a sudden artificial Tsunami of Ageod's forumites in Paradox's. :D

I like the blue graphic chart of Paradox's forum but i'm still to lazy to double my accounts and posts in 2 forums.

I can't even get a boxed version, and you want me to advertise for you. Take the money you saved from having no boxed sets, and use it for advertisements.

Ok with that way of thinking don't cry if most of the new game was so poor and commercial and target the "pré-ado" no brain gammer...
I like AGEOD because at 35 I found game with stratégie, réflexion, profondeur et un vrai gameplay for people who love history !!

This is a moderator warning only... The next step will be an actual moderator PM notification of violation.

You guys are the ones who asked to spread the word. I just responded why I won't. You call that an infraction? This is more like paradox everyday.

This is AGEOD.
You are clearly violating forum rule 10.
Please abide by the rules.

Maybe they stick to me.
Don't move folks ! I will go to post in http://www.marmiton.org/ forum to bring them over there in a place they may get to be feeded ...and maybe safe our community :w00t: !

The ROP AI will be improved. Quickly. Maybe greatly. ;)

Yea, while the AI is getting polished PBEM is a option for everyone. With all the complaints I'm proud to see there mostly directed at two things, Boxed CD's of the game and the vanilla AI. I guess that means the rest of the game is doing quite soiled for a initial release. From my observation anyways.

I pushed RoP on one or two forums where there might be potential customers. This game could do quite we'll if it's known. I now there are many war gamers out that are asking for more then what is offered by other companies. RoP can satisfy them.

I hope you guys make the $$$$$$$$$ !!! :leprechau :winner:
