An update, to let you know that work is being done to get this fixed.

We've finally, after a lot of back and forth and testing, managed to pinpoint the error. Due to a slight change in the security configuration of the hosting company's webserver, the intricate but oh-so-elegant way I've set up the AACW- and AGE-wikis is no longer possible to use.

I'm trying to get them to change it back (after all, they broke it, they should fix it), but I might also have to do some restructuring of the website. In any case, there is a light in the tunnel, and I'm 95% sure that it isn't an oncoming train...

Again sorry for the inconvenience and for the time it has taken to get this fixed.

Thanks Rafiki.

I have come to realize just how much I miss the Wiki now that it's been MIA.

Any further news Rafiki?

I'm a new player - bought the game a couple of weeks ago. I'm very impressed with it, and the company - they seem to be very good at customer support and insist on supplying us all with "niche" wargames that we love!. I'll certainly look at their other titles after my experience with this one. However, I'm desperate for some more information from "under the hood" as this game certainly amounts to more than meets the eye, and it seems your Wiki is pretty much essential in these regards.

Hope that the problems you have had aren't insurmountable.

Hi Pete:

I am a newer player as well and you have been bitten by the bug it is plain to see. The Wiki is awesome but there are many great resources available as well. The AARS are fantastic learning tools and there are many threads with more specific subjects galore. I ended up feeling more comfy just by playing and making mistake after mistake and just starting over. Eventually I felt somewhat comfortable. The thing is this game enters it's own right at that point where you go "Aha!" I cant stop playing now.

Lastly, Athena can sometimes be a very sneaky opponent!

Have fun!

That is the problem! But I've had such a fantastic welcome here, it's not something I'll ever forget.

I wasn't trying to put pressure on Rafiki, I was just wondering..

Hope it all works out ok. Otherwise it's a great game..

Hi petebeadle, and welcome to the forums Image

Not at all, now that we have found out what is wrong. Right now, I'm waiting a bit to see if the hosting company will fix the problem they created (only fair, IMHO), but if they don't, I have a plan B in place to get around it :)

To bad the FAQs are gone.
Any chance that someone can restore them?

All I get there is:
The original MediaWiki FAQ can be found at

A newer version is available at

Did you try to reload the page?
My first attempt after lodileftys post brought again the wrong page but then I reloaded and the FAQ were back.
And now it works even after clearing the cache of my Opera browser.
