Thanks that is a bit clearer.

However when I ordered the game from the ageod website yesterday, I had to pay for postage to Australia.

Does that mean I have ordered the CD with or without a digitial download?

(Sorry to ask these questions but it is not clear when you order online that you are getting anything other than the CD in the post.)

Cheers

Normally, you only get the CD by post...

However, as an exceptional gesture for our first customers, everyone who buys the physical CD will be given also a free download option for 2 weeks...

We need a little time to clarify this on our website :king:

You have made a sale because of the above great offer. I look forward to seeing the website explain this in better detail.

I would like the Digital Download + the CD (Box)

Thanks for making this possible without adding additional $$$$$$
Thanks

It seems it is not very clear to all :sourcil:

Everyone who buys (or has already bought) the boxed version till mid-March 2006 will receive the FREE option to download the game, in order to cut his "waiting" time.

Those who buy the Digital version ONLY, which will be possible from end of next week, will have the option to BUY an upgrade consisting of the box, printed manual and CD, which they can order to be shipped to them...in other words, they can get the full boxed product and just pay the difference and postage costs...

Yes, we are currently making the last technical tests, not as simple as it seems, especially for a small team like us.

As checked already, we knox our provider will set up its server facility for the game during the day tomorrow, and we hope to have something operational in the evening...

So, most likely, you can buy it digital and download it from this thursday onwards :innocent:

at last a game about the American Revolution and the French and Indian Wars

my order has gone in and i am looking forward to getting the game asap via Digital Download. but i still like having a printed manual so the download and physical copy (with a manual) is a great combination.

perhaps you could offer this as a long term purchasing choice

digital download - cheapest way to buy
physical copy - more expensive
digital and physical - most expensive

p.s. saw the game and some screenshoots posted on the forums at wargamer.com, its a good place to get some publicity for your games, perhaps you should send them a review copy

bonne chance, mes amis

I just ordered my copy. The game looks great. It's not easy to make a game that seems to hold together visually as well as this one seems to from the screens I have seen. Hopefully downloading tommorrow!

thanks all for your support! We will do our best to promote the game, but it is your opinion which will be the most important factor in the success of the game. After you get it, and if you like it (and we do think you will like it), then dont hesitate to speak of BoA in the various forums on the net.

Hi Philippe, how big is the download version and can your server handle so much traffic?

The download version weights 250 Mb...the server cannot handle too much traffic, so we shall try to make batches of 25 clients per day, otherwise the download will take hours....

In addition, press reviewers have a priority on doownload right now... :fleb:

"press reviewers have a priority on doownload right now..."

But the user reviews will get out there on the forums MUCH faster than theirs will(especially at the speed that the Wargamer gets to war-game reviews)!!
