Shit. It just dawned on me what "after summer" means:

1. definitely not during summer
2. probably fall
3. maybe winter
4. when it's done
5. leave us in peace

"After summer" means to me October as an earliest release time, but as AGEOD like it to present us a relatively bugfree and polished game it could be Christmas as latest release date.
I can wait 'till that time... :coeurs:

Most everyone is on holiday so you won't hear/see much for a couple of weeks.

Waiting

Mon Aug 24, 2009 12:37 am

Waiting and watching and watching and waiting.
For one grandsire stood with Henry,
On Hanover's Sacred sod,
And the other followed "Harry"
In the Light Horse' foremost squad.
And my grandsires stood together
When the foe at Yorktown fell;
"Stock" like this, against oppression
Could do naught else but REBEL.

Just take your time. I prefer my games bug-free. :)

Nothing worse then buying a game, noticing that it is a beta at best and then having to wait weeks for a patch to make it playable (just happened to me :( )

So for now (stealing from Hohenlohe) "steht treu die Wacht am Liffey". :leprechau :gardavou:
Frederick II. at Kolin to his retreating soldiers: "Kerls, wollt ihr denn ewig leben?"
(Do you want to live forever?)
Unfortunately we don't know his reaction to the answer he got: "Für dreizehn Pfennig wars für heute genug!"
(basically: I'd say we did enough today, considering what you pay us. :D)

Developers are on holidays... but RoP betas aren't :coeurs:
There is plenty of testing and discussion going around these days on the private RoP beta forums, i can assure you!

Good to hear. Torn between the desire for a bug-free, great game and the desire to have it NOW! :D

Don't buy HOI3 until patch 1.2 is out!! (Good Advice!) Unless they put Luca to work on it; then, don't buy it at all. t

About HOI3

Tue Sep 01, 2009 12:55 am

In lieu of a new AGEOD game, I've been playing HOI3. Talk about bugs!
Playing as Americe, Germany declared war then invaded/tried to invade my coast. At the same time, I'm was trying to find a decent route to Ireland because my ships could not make it without stops.
Skip for a year or more. I'd rather watch old movies instead.
