AACW-AAR elected AAR of the Month at Strategycon Interactive

Tue Jul 28, 2009 7:57 am

At the German forum Strategycon Interactive we have a monthly election for the After Action Report of the Month. In June 2009, the great AACW AAR by McClellan was elected by the community: American Civil War (1861 - 1865) - Ein PBEM AAR http://www.si-games.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15243

The AAR started in May 2008 and still gets regular updates!

This is the medal the AAR was awarded with:

Looks like i have to find a way to translate it into english.
Quote General Lee Gettysburg movie,
"Do you see, General, there is the great trap, to be a good soldier you must love the army, to be a good commander you must be ready to order the death of the thing you love. We don't fear our death. But if this war goes on and on and the men die and the price gets ever high. We are prepared to lose some of us, but we are never prepared to lose all of us. We are adrift here in a sea of blood and I want it to end. I want this to be the final battle".

http://translate.google.ch/translate_t# is OKAY but you need to use ur imagination at some points, all these translation programmes have the same faults. German is just too damn hard to translate correctly.

On a second note thanks Helden never saw this german community before.
