Meade as Army commander?

Fri Jan 09, 2009 5:54 am

He is one of the best Union corps commanders. Do his ratings go down when assigned an army (they did not go down when I promoted him to 3 stars)

Leader ratings can go down (and up?) upon promotion and receive new abilities, depending on their historical perfomance. Certain generals were great division commanders but poor corps/army commanders.

As far as I know this only applies if you don't choose to randomize leader stats.
I was not a Wisconsin soldier, and have not been honorably discharged, but at the judgment day I want to be with Wisconsin soldiers.

Right, but I am wondering specifically about Meade. He kept his high initiative rating when I promoted him but I think, I am not sure, that with some of the leaders when given army command some things may change. What about Meade?

Meade should have 5/4/4 ratings at ranks 2 and 3, I believe. Giving him command of an army should not change anything.
