Non Combat loss of leaders?

Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:05 am

Can events be added to remove leaders for non combat reasons?

I am particularly thinking of:
The murder of Nelson by Jeff Davis
Relief of King at Bull Run for medical reasons (epilepsy?)
The murder of Earl Van Dorn via jealous husband.
Sumner died of a Hear Attack / Stroke.

Quite a few went back to politics - Shield and Toombs are two of probably many.

If this topic has been cover elsewhere could you direct me that thread?

Non Combat loss of leaders?

This means we can specify specific generals to have a higher odds of a combat inflicted death after the historical date of his actual death. I just have not had time to work with this just yet. The recent Kentucky work was taking all my spare time.

Thanks for the update.
Could the above change result in the excessive loss of Generals unless this was implemented for non-combat deaths only?
