Another nice-to-have

I used to play board games two-handed due to lack of opponents - is there any way this game could allow similar in future? Playing both sides each turn would at least be interesting for seeing the effects of one side's moves on the other.

This would be a feature that requires 6 months of development..... :bonk:

You can do it if you have two computers though (e.g. laptop and stationary); playing a LAN game with you on one computer against you on the other :)

Never thought of that - good point :-)

Can we do multiple installs with the same serial code for this purpose?

I have two computers and have tried the game on a LAN. I haven't tried lately, with the latest patches, but early on-- after a patch or two-- the game froze up quite a bit.

I always do this with these types of games-- play LAN-- to test things out and figure how a game works. Besides reading the manual and looking at AARs, playing against yourself is a good way to learn a game.

Ohhh...nice idea. I'll have to apropriate/steal the GFs comp for a trial when I get the game. I'm sure she wont mind if I tie up her laptop for a few days....LOL :D

Yesterday night I fixed the Multiplayer bug you spotted: it's a loss of connection due to the loss of synchornization in the execution of orders and actions.

The problem is anyway partially solved, because I realised that the Multiplayer mode is not compatible with the WEGO!

So I had to force the "Strictly turn-based" mode when playing in Multiplayer.

Tonight I will do further deep tests, and I hope to "close" this issue within tomorrow, so that the Multiplayer engine will be considered as fixed and working 100% in the next official patch 1.05C!
