Persian Gulf & Red Sea bug

Mon Nov 24, 2008 11:09 am

Calvinus, the Persian Gulf is still not accessible in the Grand Campaign. The same with the Red Sea. In the MapAreas it is set to 1 unter Disabled and not to 0. And the Kind value in Red Sea.rgn is also set to 1 instead of 0. ;)

Is this with 1.0.4, or is it with one of the beta patches, e.g. 1.0.4c?

Yes, Persian Gulf is alredy accessible (set Kind=0) in 1.0.4b.
But you have to do it for the Red Sea! :bonk:

I am not sure but i think you must also insert the Persian Gulf id in the MapAreaGroups under SEA_OPEN.

Not necessary.... but surely to be done in future. MapAreaGroups.xls DBs are to be wisely revised to my opinion. Volunteers??? ;)

I am still not getting the Persian Gulf open using 1.04b or 1.04c.
