Moving interface buttons (still present in 1.0.4)

Fri Nov 14, 2008 4:00 pm

I don't know what the F6 key is supposed to do, but when I hit it some interface buttons start moving around :)
This is at the start of the Serbia scenario in the Redeployment phase of the A-H.
It started when I pushed the F-keys one after the other.
A reload of the scenario does not fix it, but a restart of the game does.

I could actually move the buttons around a little bit just like the windows in the tutorial (right click), but I could not move them back where they belong...

Unfortunatly this bug seems to be still present in 1.0.4 :(

Depending on where on the map I right-clicked (but far away from the displayed buttons), I could move those menu buttons, the event cards and even the whole minimap (except the unit markers). :bonk:

One real problem with this seems to be that some other buttons acted like they wre disabled. E.g. some units I could not order to convert some rail lines (with the movement path already drawn) - now, after a restart and reload of the game it worked without problems.

But how you did?

The F6 key is no more working with 1.0.4.

Are you sure the patch is installed??? Some persons had problems with the installing of the patch (Vista problem).

I am sure the patch is correct (I saw the 1.0.4 when launching the game and I had to put the serial number etc...) ;)

In my case, I think it happened when I scrolled the map (for one point to another) with the mouse...

I am pretty sure it is not really related to the F6-key - it's 'activation' with the F6-key was most likely just a side-effect.
And yes, from what I see 1.0.4 is properly installed - had also to insert the serial in the configuration tool and some other option were reverted to default as well. Oh, and I run under XP...
