Nope. What I and others have been suggesting is simply that the bullets shown on the icons on the map should display something that gives the player usable information (of course subject to FOW). Since these bullets are available directly on the force icons, it is among the first thing one sees of an enemy force.
As it is now, each bullet then represents 1-3 counters/containers. This info in AACW is rather unusable (as opposed to how it was in BoA), since one such counter/container could be a single man (i.e. leader) or a full strength division.
Noone has asked for the exact strength of enemy forces to be displayed. Just that what is represented on the force icon should be derived of something more usable for the AACW game. Obviously this value can then be "fogged up" as wanted in a number of ways. One could even have the % of misinformation scaled according to spotting/hiding values involved.
I am certain that reports from civilians, scouts etc would give commanders at the time a hint of the rough size of an enemy force - if it is say a rgt, div, corps or army-sized force (NOTE!!! This is just an example - I am NOT suggesting that rgt/div/corps/army should be displayed specifically!). I can't see how this small (but IMHO good) change would force a player to relearn the game.
