Hi folks, It's a little upsetting to move an army along the frozen shore of lake
Ontario from Oswego to Gannegaro only to have a thaw and the entire army to find themselves cut off in French territory on the other side of Ontario!
I'm sure an army would never be able to cross such a lake in any case and would only move along the edges. Is there any way to fix this so they can move along lake edges but not cross over or at least keep them on the side they set off from if there is a thaw.
Maybe if the player were to plot from land to lake to land to lake the code will always put his army either back to the land region they just came from or to the land region they were heading to if they had reached the mid point. If the player plots
land to lake to lake to land or similar that his up to him - but he may then end up in an odd position after a thaw.
Cheers, Chris
