Divisions and Generals?

Mon Feb 18, 2008 12:29 am

Whats the best way to transfer generals and division HQs cross country?

must i use the move tool and wait 2-3 turns for the divisions to move across?
or can i make them "spawn" at different cities?

the same for generals, got a couple of 2 stars on the far side of the map that i need to create a corps ....

have looked at the wiki but havent found any answers

Hi and welcome!

Which version of the game are you using??
In one of the latest patches they introduced a button just for that called Redeploy.
Patch to the latest version(1.09) an you will find it on the orders tab.

It seems you use a very outdated version, as you talk about Division HQ, a unit that was eliminated on version 1.05 i think. Month ago... :siffle:
Now there is a new way to form division who is better (IMHO) and much easier to use for the Ai (improving a lot her performance)
I strongly recommend you to update. LOTS of improvements had been introduced since then on the game.
Regards!

Hi

Yes, the game certainly has a lot going on... but once you get pass the learnig phase that complexity is what make it so appealing :coeurs:
Its worth to have a little patience at the begining.

By the way, you should also download the upadted manual from here
http://www.ageod-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105
To get the info about the new way to make divisions and more updated things.
If you find any porblem with divisions, check on the forums... or ask for help
There is already LOT threads about it! but another one won't hurt :niark:
Regards!
