Great Game - Consistency Issue?

Wed Jan 02, 2008 6:25 pm

Hi, I have obtained the ACW for Christmas 2007 and am absolutely smitten, tis brilliant! So many thanks for a great game and such enthusiatic support.

I realise my next comment could be the result of being a total newbie to the game.

I sometimes find when I click on the detail of a general that it tells me that his unit is also part of an army. However another general (which I know is attached to the same army (and in the same area) does not mention the connection. However if I go to stop his corp leadership it tells me that it would detach the unit from the army it has failed to mention in the earlier display.

OK I have probably used al lthe wrong terms and ignored great swathes of rules but is this just me or a "feature".

Many thanks

Van

First of all, welcome to a :coeurs: :coeurs: community and to a :coeurs: :coeurs: game!

To the point, you're probably looking at the wrong portion of the screen to figure out what army a general is part of. In the manual, at page 20, a red box in the illustration indicates what you should be looking at.

Before you ask :niark: : you can find the manual in the Start->Programs menu or in the folder where the game was installed, within a folder called 'Docs'.
