Hello

Wed Dec 12, 2007 1:34 am

I downloaded the Demo the other day and was not as impressed as I was hopeing. I will state here why and possibly it will help for future projects.

1. When I get a demo I just jump right in. After I set all the options for my sytem. So after I had set the resolution and such I noticed the main menu slash creen covered the initial 6 buttons. This is amateur programming (sorry but true).

2. I expect to dig in move units watch counter moves and what not. Learning how to move units alone was a trial. I don't want to read a manual for a game that I may not buy. So a tutorial is really a must on a game as indepth and complicated as this one.

3. I applied to this forum 5 days ago and the email to post just arrived. I had already forgotten what forum this was.

K that being said I would like to state that the game looks like it is well thought out with huge depth. Unfortunately my plate is full I don't have time to learn the interface in order to get the whole experience. A clunky non intuative interface is a sure fire way to throw off a large portion of the market. Most of us harcore gamers from the old days of AH don't mind but still even here we need some agreement between companies to map keys in the same spot. It really isn't that hard. Also placeing a mapping feature in the otions is mandatory. To be honest I don't remeber if it was there or not because like I said this was 5 days ago and I've checked out numerous games since then and already have removed the demo.

I think this company has alot going for it from my slight exposure so far so I will pop in from time to time to check back on other projects and wish yu all the best of luck.

Sorry if this sounded harsh, It wasn't meant to be. Only my honest opinion.

This is an artistic design. It is supposed to be like a small desk with drawers view from top...

The demo features two tutorials, the first one deals with movement.

You're welcome.
