Soleil de Austerlitz

Sun Dec 02, 2007 5:45 pm

A nice greeting I received today. I thought I'd share it with you all.

------------------------
I want to wish you all a wonderful Austerlitz Day, this Sunday December 2nd, 2007. At this time, on this day 202 years ago, the “Soleil de Austerlitz” had already risen to reveal to the Empereur Napoleon that his forces where well deployed against his enemy, and what would be a glorious day for his Grande Armee had begun.

There was much bravery and heroism that day, what would be arguably the zenith of the projection of French Power across the continent (or close to it following the campaigns of 1806).

I wish you all an equally Glorious Day!!!

Vive L’Empereur!!!!!! I can imagine/hear the victorious brigades of infantry and squadrons of horsemen shouting it out!!!!

Kindest Regards,
:)
